The year 2001 ushered in a new millennium and and uncertain future for many. Every generation has something to talk and some major event that has happen in our life time. With the new generation so much has happen in such a short amount of time.
At 8:46 a.m. the first of two planes hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center buildings. Then at 9:03 a.m. the second plane hitting the South Tower. The Trade Center building collasped in about 90 minutes. Two of New York's most reconinzable buildings seen in movies and photos are gone. Within less than 2 hours more than 2600 people lost their lives to a senseless, cowardless act.
9:37 a.m. a third plane hits the Pentagon killing 126 people and soon sometime later a fourth plane believed to be White House bound goes down in a Pennsylvania field killing everyone on board.
September 11 President Bush announces at a teleconference in Flordia that "We are at War!" If we only knew what were getting ourselves into.
October 25, 2001 a directive was sign to begin the gobal war on terror. The troops were sent into Afghanistan. (Hmmm so if Al Qaida is suppose to be located in Afghanistan again why did we go into Iraq for weapons that do not isist? Ponder on that.)
Also in this month the Patriot Act was signed. Declaring that we the United State has the right to sniff out the terrorist and keep further attacks from happening.
In Decmember members of Al Qaida began surrendering to U.S. troops and a President Bush says "the war is more than just Bin Laden." U.S. Marines move back into the U.S. Embassy in Kabual.
March of 2002 U.S military declare the end of Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan. Resulting many Taliban and Al Quaid member fled the country to Pakaistan.
The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States is created.
A year later in March of 2003 President Bush annouce the move to remove Saddum Hussien from power over Iraq. Stating, "Using chemical, biological or, one day, nuclear weapons, obtained with the help of Iraq, the terrorists could fulfill their stated ambitions and kill thousands or hundreds of thousands of innocent people in our country, or any other."
In May of 2003 "The Battle of Iraq" is "one victory in a war on terror that began on Sept. 11, 2001." (Remember what I stated early we went to Afghanistan for war but ended up in a Iraq blowing up a country that we knew didn't have weapons of mass destruction. But yet it still was a battle on the war on terror. What am I missing people.) President Bush also added that "With those attacks, the terrorists and their supporters declared war on the United States. And war is what they got."
And finally in Decemeber of 2003 Saddam Hussien was found hiding in a bunker in the ground and was arrested after escaping one war where we thought we killed him almost 15 years later.
A lot of unanswered questions and a lot of cover up as well. A war that started in one country and ended in another. Mother and Fathers, Husbands and Wives that will never get to see their loves that fought and gave the last breath for this country. Men and Women who are on there third and fourth tours of duty ready to come home trying not to kill themselves over the increasing madness that is seen from day to day. Veterns that are healing in hospitals that lost their limbs for this war that I hope and pray that will have a home to go to and not end up like so many of out Vitenam verterns. Children that are growing up without our there fathers or mothers there missing so much of their small lives.
What about the war right here within our own lives. What about the battles that happen everyday of not knowing whether your child or husband, or wife is not going to come home. What about that war? People we need to wake up and relize that not all fights are good fights. Are we really fighting for our freedom? When was it ever taking away? Why can't we see that the more we stay to more life is lost and one more day is another knock on someone's door.
Please educate yourselves. Do not just believe everything you are told is right. Question those things that do not feel right. We have the moral responsiblity too.

Are there "REAL" Parents anymore?
What are “Real” parents? That question can be argued for generations to come. As we see in our society with shows like, Nanny 911, Super Nanny, and even Wife Swap. Yes our parenting skills are from a broad spectrum, but in the real world, most of what you see does really happen in some households.
How many times have you been out in public and there is a child throwing a tantrums just because he/she does not get his/her way? Most people will say that is it because kids are being kids, but where does it say kids have to act a damn fool because you will not give them what they want , and you ignore it. Let’s get it clear I am not talking about babies that have no control over bodily fluids and are hungry and the parent ignores but I will get to that in due time. I am talking about 3 and 4 years who at that age should know that when mommy and daddy say no, no means NO! To make it even more clear those children who are older like ages 5 through 7 who do the same things.
We have all seen it, in Wal-mart, the mall, drug stores, and restaurants. You name you have seen it. I believe strongly that child will test you to the limits of your own sanity, but in the same manner children should not be able to run over their parents. Why is it that a child can tell an adult “NO” and there is not a consequence? Why can your children can pull away from you and you chase after them like a little lost puppy in the woods. And my personal favorite. you tell your child to stop doing something, and of course like any other child if not discipline and does not understand rules they keep right on, and still you ignore.
Come on people this is insane! People get mad when someone else tries to correct their children, but insist that their children did nothing wrong. What happen to those days where you use to be about to say something and the parents act on it, better yet it was taking care before mom and dad got to you and then you still were in trouble when you got home. Have parents become so passive about parenting. Or is that parents are scared of being strict for fear of what some call “child abuse”. (Which has a broad definition) Now I’m not talking about beating your children or making them feel less that human, but laying down rules and consequences for their actions.
Children become adults and as adults we have to follow rules. As parents if you do not instill those rules as a child then as adult what do they have to follow. I understand some people grew up in very strict households and they took a vow that they would never be as strict as mom and dad. Well it may have work but in the process little Billy is kicking you and screaming public and little Suzie is walking off and you have no idea where she is. Does being strict and enforcing rules sound so bad now?
Not only is acting out in public a huge issue but these are the same children who are acting out in school and being disruptive. I worked in childcare and trust me it starts early and continues if not fixed. Even in our son classroom, I can see how some of the children get their way and the parents think that it’s cute or blow it off or whatever expression you can come up with. It is a crying shame that an educator who has to spend up to 3 to 4 years in college and graduate…ends up with having to rear some parents’ child. It is not a teachers job to be a disciplinary they are their to educate your children, not be a babysitter.
Simply put parents need to be aware of their children and their actions and do something about it. No parent should be that self-absorb that they can not see that their child is a problem child and needs correction. Kids will be kids but kids are not adults and are far from it. The adults who are parents need to step up and be parents. If it is that hard, and can’t control the ones you have, re-evaluate before having more.

The "Real" World
Real: being such or happening so in fact; not imagined; true; actual
Realism: the seeing of things as they really are, not as one might wish them to be
Realistic: facing facts with realism; practical
Are we living in a "real"world?
Are we really facing the "realism" of the "real" world?
Are we "realistic" about our world?
Questions that are asked but no true answers to be found. Opinions, graphs, charts, facts, and statistically matters all to support the answers about our society. But, is our society ready to face real truths? Is our society scared of being real or realistic about one another?
Everyone often uses the line "keeping real," but how often is that the truth. Since bogging has become more and more popular over the past years. Society has found a new way to hide behind the facet of the everyday average Dick and Jane mentality. Hence, I may not say it to your face but in the privacy of my own home, I am the law.
We use blogging to post our own, ideas, beliefs, facts, opinion, and yes sometimes the outrageous claims of the "I KNOW IT ALL AND IT'S MY GOD GIVEN RIGHT" syndrome. In this fast paced world were does "realism" meet "reality." Where does right cross with wrong, and where does what was once safe becomes detrimental?
We all have the freedom of speech and the right to exercise that with caution. Laws of gravity thought us that what goes up will come down. What we say in the present maybe not come to light until later in life. Each person in society wishes to leave a mark on this world. Whither it was winning your fourth grade spelling bee, or becoming a father for the first time, we teach at a early age about our freedoms and rights.
In teaching comes responsibility and educating the world around us. When we are babes, we are carried throughout the first months of our lives. We evolve through rolling for stomach to back and back to stomach. Sitting up on our own for the first time, to scooting, to crawling, and the ultimately taking the first steps. Language skills work the same way. As a society have we stopped evovling? Furthermore, have we stop growing and are convinced that we are safe and the world around us is real?
Questions that are unanswered, but do we as a society want the truth?
